Stage 1: Database
Database is an important part of the Timetable Plus Spring software. In order to create a timetable, database is needed to store all the important informations such as the courses, lecturers and rooms.
In this stage, you will learn about Courses Management, Lecturers Management and Rooms Management.
Stage 2: Timetable Structure
General setting for timetable is structuring the timetable which is including the location of class and time period covered.
In this stage, you will learn about timetable structure, timetable output and adding room list.
Stage 3: Tree Structure
Tree Structure is like a data entry. This is a platform for user to input in all the needed data and also the requested demand before the system automatically slot in the timetable Structure using the Generate button
In this stage, you will learn to master tree structure.
Stage 4: Constraint Setting
It is important to set the constraints according to the specified demands. User can set constraints according group, lecturer and generate constraints.
In this stage, you will learn how to set group constraints, lecturer constraints and generate constraints.
Stage 5: Generate & Manual Allocation
User will need to either use the Auto-Generate button or Add Manual Function to allocate the sections to the slots in the Timetable Output. In order for user to slot the section automatically, user can just press the Generate function.
Stage 6 : Analysis & Editing
After generating the timetable, you will need to analyze and edit to get a perfect timetable output.
In this stage, you will learn about Analyzing and Editing after generating the timetable.
Stage 7 : Printing
Printing is the last process in timetable construction. User has the option to either print directly from Timetable Plus software or export to Microsoft Excel for Printing.
